  1. I'm doing good Dad and Di and everyone else.... just had to get myself back together after a long hot summer and back to work again.

I love my job, the people are great, the boss is great, and the hours are great! 7 am to 3:30 pm and I am able to do a little house work after work to keep up with things at home.

I'm working in a lab area making precision valves for Oxygen units... it's tedious work but we chill and if we start to tense up some one usually jumps up and starts singing or dancin or some such silly thing to break up the monotony. smile.gifsmile.gif

I'm just happy to have found another job and one where no one fights or argues or seems to be nasty with each other.

The Giant's going to go back to driving a truck part time in the evenings until his business picks up.... It's not easy going into business for yourself now adays and we cant afford to advertise sooooo.. it's word of mouth that brings in the new customers right now.

We hope to be able to move into a different house before the holidays, one with a yard for the Munchkin and where he can have a dog or cat.... I'd really like to move to a smaller town closer to I work, but have to

    wait and see what's happening.

  2. LOL@Westbrook ! They all come from the heart! One year I got gumdrop earrings... believe it or not I spray seal them every few months and wear them at Christmas time. grin.gifgrin.gif

I have recieved ornaments that have taken alot of work to make and others that took very little time, but to me they are all precious because they come from the heart of my friends and family here at Mrs.S.

Also, it doesnt matter what the cost is. Most of us are frugal as a result of years of doing without to raise families... I raised 6 children of my own and a step son.. now I am doing the Mommy thing again with The Giants children.

It is hard to believe that this is the 4th annual Christmas Ornament Exchange here on Mrs.S. Time does fly when you are with friends. smile.gif twila

  3. I have everything I need to make the twelve ornaments for the adults except for the wooden dowels. I still need to know how many 4-H'ers we're going to have so I can get started. If who ever is handeling the 4-H kids would email me... agslbabe@aol.com with a list of names of the kids, I would like to enclose a greeting card for the kids along with their ornaments.

Please let us know soon how many kids we are going to have as I am working full time again and I will be doing my ornaments in the evenings after dinner is over. luv ya Twila

  4. Looking out the window, of my living room, I see the yellow leaves from my maple tree sailing to the ground like graceful feathers, a gray squirrel sits on top of my trash can husking the green shell off of a Black Walnut. Pandora, the neighbors Black Lab, is playing in their front yard.

Looking out the window of my bedroom I watch the river slowly meandering west, canadian geese swimming up stream to their nesting area. Here in NJ they don't migrate south anymore, they are here all year long. The leaves of the poison oak are turn bright with the autum colors. Yes, Ed winter is comming!

  5. Dear Lord, keep the many who passed away a year ago today close to your heart, envelope them in your loving arms, be they catholic, protistant, muslim, islamic, black, white, red, yellow, brown. Heal this country Lord and heal the hearts around the world of the many who cannot forgive. Let us never forget, but teach us all to forgive one another.

Thank you Lord, for friends, family, blue skies, sunshine, freedom. Thank you for the men and women around the world who protect not only our way of life and religious freedom but the rest of the worlds as well.

Thank you for the peace officers and firemen who put their lives at stake everyday to protect us, our homes and loved ones.

And Lord, most of all, bring us peace of mind and peace in our world. Amen

  6. Heres mine: Hook, Hayden, Holdcroft, Hoge,

    Nelson, Hemery, Tharp, Thorp,

    Jennings, Thimmes, Dayton,

When I began tracing my family tree I found most of the Hooks and Haydens, and Tharps origonated in NJ and then moved westward... it is so ironic that this lineage has gone full circle across this great USA and one of us is now back in NJ again grin.gif...
