  1. LowLander, as soon as we get the list of email addys and snail mail addeys i will get yours mailed. wink.gif I've already started mine and all I need to do is purchase my Christmas Cards to go with them. smile.gif

As for the 4H'ers its up to everyone else. I don't have a problem with them joining in the fun and I think it would be a marvelous way for them to experience the positive side of the internet... the making of precious friends and becoming a family of the heart.

I have found that all the ornaments are precious to me , made with love, from my family here and that is what christmas is about, giving with love...

  4. the yearly ornament exchange is for anyone who wants to get in and we make ornaments for everyone in the group and mail them to each other. We have been doing this since 1999. after everyone has signed up and sent their names, snail mail addy's to the person hosting it.. that person emails the list and addresses to the others. We make an ornament for everyone on the list and mail them out individually.

The men and women here at Mrs.S are so ingenious and talented... the ornaments are very special. they are made with love and come from the heart of each person making them. It makes our trees so much more special and meaningful to see the ornaments from or family members here. The spirit of love and giving shines on the branches of our christmas trees.

  5. I agree with you ed... for you and peg nursing home is not an option for dad... Gosh I remember sending him his first email.. smile.gif (with tears). check with county and other nurses registeries. many times you can get a good home health aide to assist with his dailey care when you and peg cant be there or it gets to the point you cant do it all. hang in there big brother, i love you and Peg. T

  6. If you go with the two burner coleman stove get the collapsable colemane oven also. it sits on top of one of the burners and it really works for baking.

  7. Big Brother, it's always tough having to be the strong one on the outside when someone that you love very much is ill. I watched it for years with Tom. YOu appear strong to everyone else when inside you are crying and wishing there is someone to be strong for you. Men arent so different from women when it comes to pains of the heart, theyve just been raised to not show their feelings. So sad... I love you and peg and if you need me please dont hesitate... love twi

  8. WISH THERE WAS SOMETHING I COULD DO TO HELP. IF YOU NEED ME NEAR THE END BIG BROTHER AND PEG YOU KNOW WHERE I AM. I DID HOSPICE FOR 6 YEARS AND YOU KNOW I WILL BE HER FOR YOU ALL, ESPECIALLY DAD. LOVE TWI

  9. I can change oil, sparkplugs, fuel filters, did a fuel pump on top of a mountain in the snow one time.. brrrrr talk about COLD! Can change a tire, check and fill all the fluids in my car and YES BIG BROTHER.....I PLAY DUMB AND LET THE GIANT DO IT FOR ME grin.gifgrin.gifgrin.gif

  10. DebbieLee we use a good degreaser to take out grease stains.... if that doesnt work drycleaning! always wash your clothes in COLD water.... it wont set a stain after washing your clothes check to see if the grease is gone... if not let it drip dry and get it drycleaned.

  11. LOL well my car still needs a new motor mount.... the water pump just took a massive dump so to speak and the oil pan developed a cancerous area.. yeah yeah you guessed it... thank goodness the rush spot waited till the Giant had it in the shop (to replace the water pump) to finish eating all the way thru...... what an oily mess!

  12. HI JuneBug...I'm praying as i write this for you and your family. As the mother of a child with bipolar maniac depression I can only say hang on to your hat and get your daughter to a doctor. rule out physical problems and then have her checked for bipolar as NANA advised you.

It was touch ang go when my oldest DD was growing up... her problems hit when she was around 12 years old. but medication,a good psychologist, biofeedback, and good friends have given her her life back... she is now married and has two children and a wonder person to be around most of the time .. grin.gif.. when she hits a maniac high everyone tells her they love her, take her pills and they head for the hills so to speak...

Your DD cant help what is going on, depression controlls you you dont control it.. especially at her young age. DH is probably trying to figure out how to survive this himself.. keep us posted as to what is happening we are here for you. twila
