  1. i have been hunting for this guy for a long time... the only information i have on him is. his name was Scolfield Coleman he was a preacher and called Rev. S. Coleman he was born in Virginia, he married a Mary Anderson they had my grandmother in 1910 in Cook Co. Ill. and he died there ( i think) any help finding this guy would be great. I tried going backwards on grandma's birth record, but can't seem to get her birth record.

    thank you in advance.

  2. i remember all four of my grandparents. I was the first born grandchild on my dad's side and the second grandchild on my mothers side by two weeks.

both my grandmothers lived into their 90's. and grandfathers lived in to their 70's

i was close to my dad's mother, she helped raised us kids. she didn't have any health problems til she reached her mid 60's.

my grandpa on my mother's side loved to play board games.my other grandpa raise the best sweet corn and watermelon around.

i know that they had a big influance in my life... even my great grandmother that i had never met but heared lots of stories about she lived to be 99.

  4. the other day i was visiting with a friend of mine and she was telling me that paid 40.00 for one of her daughters halloween costume. 40.00 to me seems like a lot of money just for a costume. So i was wondering how many people still makes theirs or get them cheaper.

One year we had some old white sheets and we wraped our nephew up in it and gave him a doll and he went as a mummy. Another year my SIL took a box and fitted it to our grandson open the front of the box and ran sting back and forth like webbing and made a bar across the top saying www.trick or treat.com he went as a computer.

has anyone made their own costume??
