We have a clothespin attached to the shelf that is above the sink and just clip it in there for next time you need it- that way it dries out and stays a little cleaner longer! dishes

i have a row of little hooks above my sink. one for the cloth (which i knitted myself) and one for the bottle brush, one for the nipple brush, and one that i hang my rubber gloves on so they dont get slimy on the inside. laugh

some days i need a bigger hook to put the baby(she's actually a toddler, but i am in denial) so i can get things done around the house!! lol
  2. bumping this up becsause it took me forever to find, and i would liek to recommend this as a sticky. many people out there use pressure cookers as canners, and when i say that i have a hard time finding a canner in stores, people always say oh go here! then they link me to a pressure cooker. i know of 4 people in hope that use pressure cookers instead, and they give me home canned meats, i just toss them. i have no idea how it is processed, so i will not eat it. better safe than sorry.

    Handy tip 2

Get fire fox instead of internet explorer.

Save page as, saves the folder with all pics from a site seperatly to the html page.

you can do that with internet explorer, you have have to make the site availible offline. ypou get that option automatically when you add it to your favorites.

also, when i want to get a pic that i cant "save picture as" i press ctrl+alt+print screen then paste into adobe photoshop.
  4. hey, thats pretty good...now all i need is a truck and a garage! lmao

i like the cargo nets idea....for my kids rooms. i bought one of those teddy hammoks, and it was a joke. it could only hold 2 teddies, 3 if they were fairly small. i want a big huge one, my kids have so much stuff. :P

  5. i have a quwestion, it may be a stupid one, so bear with me.

what IS meat tenderizer. to me, a meat tenderizer is a mallot of sorts...you hit meat with it to make it tender. what do it put in a recipe that calls for a teaspoon of it? i have seen a few erecipes about that call for "meat tenderizer", and so i had to ask.

  6. neat o!

i have a very limited amount of storage space, i dont even have a garage! (darn multi-family dwellings!) but i have a storage room, and i need to find a way to re-organize it so that i can fit a deep-freeze into it. this cieling storage is a great idea. at the moment i have a wodden bar across the roof that i hang things on. heh heh a lot of great ideas here! (makes me SUPER glad to be a part of mrs.s!)

  7. wow...this sounds awsome! darlene, you peel garlic the same way i do! i took cooking classes when i was a new mom(17 or 18 years old at the time) and that is how i was taught. my cooking teacher (Velma) hates garlic presses, she refuses to use them. lol so she taughtme how to make a very fine garlic paste using the flat of the knife and salt. its awsome for garlic butter.

could i use this recipe for other spices, like making ginger jelly? just use ginger instead of garlic? i would be great on toast with honey! what if you added lemon zest to ginger jelly?

i have never eally canned much before, and so i am just kinda getting ideas, let me know if they are too far off the wall!
