Where would all of us be, if it wasn't for the brave men and women who were willing to risk their lives for a country and people that they loved and felt honor bound to... To their families who have supported their decision, our heartfelt thank you, we can't even begin to comprehend the sacrifice that you experience as well. I love my country, I love my military and am grateful I have been so blessed because of their courage to go where most will never see. God Bless America. Link to comment
Homesteader Posted November 12, 2005 Share Posted November 12, 2005 I am so happy when I see folks remember the REAL reason for holidays. Many are just happy to be off work or school or to have a good sale at the mall, and never consider the reason for the day. Link to comment

I also appreciate the sacrifices of those who have served and those who are serving and their families. It's not easy having your son half a world away, especially at the holidays, or having one out on a ship going who knows where. Link to comment
