Can dressing be canned?

I work occasionally (holiday season) for a lady who caters- and she is famous for her dressing (for you Yankee types it is similar to stuffing) -anyway... I get tons of left over dressing (it's really good too ) - even more than my boys can eat - I usually give the leftovers to the dogs- but I am wondering if this stuff is can-able? What do you think?

No... it's just too dense and it's NOT safe.

 

Why don't you cool it in the fridge, cut it into serving size squares and freeze it on cookie sheets? When it's frozen solid, put the squares in a foodsaver bag and vac seal, then keep them in your freezer. If you lose electricity for any length of time, add it to the dogs food and make them happy.
