Freetobeme Posted December 16, 2005 Share Posted December 16, 2005 I wanted to say Merry Christmas to everyone now because things are about to be very busy for me. As you may know, I've sold my house. Closing is the 27th. That is a blessing because my DS needs money to pay the remainder of his loan that the insurance didn't pay on his car. I am to be out by the 15th of Jan. I'll be moving to my mom's in Payson. That way I can do the work that needs to be done on her place so it can also be sold. Then we can buy the land we want for our farm. My DD told me today that when she and her fiance come for the holidays, she is staying. He apparently arranged to be transferred back to AZ! As soon as he can sell their house in NV, he will also move back. In the meanwhile, she will be looking for a house and a job here. And of course we will be planning their wedding! BTW today was a good day at work. I received a big tin of chocolates in the gift exchange!!! Link to comment

I left my job interview just as the sleet started. 12 miles home and I'm scared to death of the snow let alone the ice. Well I'm very effectively "snowed in" for tomorrow!!! Link to comment
