Kygal
had an allergic reaction to shaving?! i used the same razoe type i have used for years, and use the same soap to shave with for years (i am too cheap for shaving cream and i have to wash there anyways my question is, should i see a dr? i put patmeal lotion on it and it is dulling the itch, but it is still very itchy. i am thinking i should put my tea tree gel on it too. bee1425
Oh Pixie, how awful! That's odd that it would happen out of the blue like that. Hope you figure it out. Link to comment
Daisygirl
Happened once with a dull razor, but that's the only time, but that didn't itch that much. Could be infected hairs, so the gel sounds like a good idea to me. If it doesn't get better in a couple of days I would call the doctor, or if the itching doesn't let up, I'd call now. Kygal
the tea tree gel worked, and it was gone by morning, but how wierd was that? it was a brand new razor... i am ever so confused! Link to comment
Linda
makes me wonder if there was something left on the razor, from the company... next one maybe you would want to rainse it good before using.... Link to comment
Kygal
i hope not. i am allergic to nickle, but i have never had a reaction like that, and besides, for me to react to nickle, it would have to have constant contact with my skin. i will try a different blade from a different package next time and see what happens.
