SueC Posted February 17, 2007 Share Posted February 17, 2007 Hi everyone! We have had nearly 2" of rain over the last 48 hours and we needed it! Although where I live has no water restrictions Brisbane has level 5 restrictions so no hoses, cant wash the car, and buckets only for the garden. The State Premier wants to put those restrictions on everyone, whether it is needed or not. As you can imagine the people who have already become water wise dont see why we should have be punished for the lack of forward thinking by the government. DD3 (in Brisbane) rang up really excited. She applied for a job online on Tuesday, got a phonecall Wednesday, interview Thursday and starts next week. So today she has gone shopping for clothes suitable for work. And I have to go shopping for the youngest, she has outgrown her clothes in the last 8 weeks. So see you later! Sue Link to comment
