Pixie Posted February 27, 2007 Share Posted February 27, 2007 i have a really neat book called the illustrated herbal encyclopedia by brenda little. in this book are recipes for herbal beers ad wines. the instructions are all there, but i dont understand why. why do you have to float the yeast on a piece of toast? in some of the recipes it sais to stir in the yeast, and others it sais to float it on the toast. whats the difference?
