Vic303
5 1/2" rain since midnight last night. Creeks are overbanks and the ground goes 'squishsmoosh' if you walk on it. Got one of the dogs his annual vaccinations today. He's good about it so I give them at home. Still have to get to the vet for rabies shot though. Littlest Monkey just ran in (3.25yrs old) and complained about her nose. I finally translated the problem into English. Seems she jammed a largish blue bead up her right nostril...After informing her it was better to 'blow' than to inhale, I was able to get behind it and shell it outta there--pop! Now she is happy & I have disposed of the bead. --All in a day's work, eh? Link to comment
rootdiggr
Rain? What is this rain of which you speak? I have lived in this area for 26 years, and have NEVER seen it so dry. Kinda makes you long for a couple of tropical storms. Link to comment
Aint2nuts
Is rain that stuff that the clouds hold and never deliver? We are in the middle of a drought in Arizona -== which would be why it is called ARID Zone-a. Link to comment
Kim_in_IN
Please send some to southern Indiana. Drought, drought, drought. Kim Link to comment
