energy for cancer patient

When my mother was on chemotherapy for large B-cell lymphoma, her oncologist prescribed PROCRIT to combat a potential for anemia that these patients are prone to.

 

Chemo drugs are so toxic in and of themselves that a decrease in stamina is to be expected, but there's no reason to be anemic as well.

 

I can't imagine that his oncologist wouldn't be watching for this, but you never know...

 

If for some reason he can't take this medication, I would ask the doctor about adding foods to his diet that are rich in iron.

 

Just a thought...
