SDBookMom Posted April 15, 2008 Share Posted April 15, 2008 I had to find room in my freezer and found about 2.5 gallons of choke cherries, about the same of cranberries and a small bag of strawberries. I cooked them up, ran them through the juice press. The result is WONDERFUL. If you make choke cherry jelly, try mixing with cranberries! Oh my! Recipe - 5 cups juice 9 cups sugar 1/2 cup lemon 1 package sure jell (I will let you nkow if that's enough.) Follow directions on sure jell for cooking. Joyfully, Cheryl Link to comment
