quiltys41
Looked around MrsS for a regular meatball recipe for spaghetti and couldn't find one! So I peiced together this one from a few others I found and it came out sooo good and just had to share it. ------------------------------------------- Italian Meatballs 2 lb. ground beef 8 slices bread torn into small peices 2 eggs slightly beaten 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp Italian seasoning 2 tsp parsley flakes 1/4-1/2 cup parmesan cheese 1/2 tsp salt 1/4-1/2 tsp pepper Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Shape meat into small balls and put on baking sheet. Put into 350 degree pre-heated oven and bake for around 25 minutes. Should be brown all the way through. You can freeze these too. Just put into zip lock bag and take out as many as you want and plop into your sauce. Also good for meatball sub samiches! Q Link to comment
Stephanie
Those sound absolutely delicious. You know what, I bet that could be done with ground venison too. I have a good bit of that in the freezer. Link to comment
quiltys41
I was thinking about that too Steph since we have about 40 lbs in the freezer. Only thing I would change for it is to throw in another egg maybe to help it hold together. I'll have to try it next time I make these. Q Link to comment
