It is a bit hard to turn at the fine setting so I made it coarser and noticed I got a mix of meal and quick oat sized pieces. A little coarser and I also got some flattened oats, not quite like rolled oats. I think putting the oat groats thru on course should make the oats cook up faster as oatmeal. I am needing flour for cookies and cake so I'll sift and put the bigger parts back thru. Link to comment
