Leah
Finally got the boys to put the baby crib together, so we could get the parts out of the family room. There was more space in the front room, so they put it together there. sigh... Do you think anyone measured to make sure it would fit through the bedroom doorway? Now it's sitting in the front room. Y.T.
head-desk. I'm only laughing because I think we've all done this at some point. one of those "oh, for pete's sake, tell me I didn't just do that" moments. if it makes you feel any better, I once had a roommate who paid for a lofted bed, paid to have it assembled in her room, only to find out late at night when it was finally finished that while it technically fit, there was no actual room to lie *in* the bed once it was constructed. there were only like 6 inches between the mattress and the ceiling. I felt so bad for her. but it was also pretty dang funny (if you weren't her). you might be able to fit the crib in if you take the door off temporarily? sometimes that gives you the extra inch or two that you need.
