gofish
My Church 2-3 times a year has a meal and classes on Wednesday night for 12-13 weeks at a time. Youth group is every Wednesday night. Last night my Son's friend did not come to church and Son was driving me nuts "Just take me home Mom" I told him he had to go to youth group or help me with the K- 4 th graders teaching them to cook. He had to help and be nice about it. No hiding in the corner and being nasty. I should have known I had it wrong when half the little kids came in the classroom and yelled " Look it's Teddy Bear" ( no I did not give him that nickname some else did). They had a blast with him and after it was over he said" That was fun. Thanks for the punishment Mom." Link to comment
Cat
Nice when God does that, isn't it? Sounds like he got a nice burst of self-esteem from the younger ones. It's always nice when the older children find that the younger ones look up to them. Link to comment
