bluegrassmom
A friends asked me this & I'm not sure what the answer is. If you have canned applesauce or apple butter is it ok if there are some bubbles in the finished product? Link to comment
Amishway Homesteaders
WELL................... I thought you were calling my name? OK anyway before you can is OK but after you can NO! We take a chopstick and 'poke' them before putting on th tops. Also you can 'bang' the jars on a counter that you put a towel on to shake them up to the top. Link to comment
Violet
It is OK, but not ideal. She had her food too thick before canning it. Applesauce should have some movement to it when you tip the jars. Have her look at store canned applesauce in a jar to see what I mean. Link to comment
