MrsClark Posted April 29, 2011 Share Posted April 29, 2011 My local Tea Party group is discussing putting together a bunch of donations, food, clothing, etc., packing it all in a van, and driving down South to meet up with a Tea Party group down there that has been affected by the storms to help out with donations for those that need help. If anyone here has some connections that I could touch base with that would be great. Link to comment
Virginia Posted April 30, 2011 Share Posted April 30, 2011 Many Southern Baptist Church associations have groups that are trained to go to devastated areas and help in various ways from feeding to limb cutting. I am sure some from Arkansas will be headed that way, as will the Salvation Army and other well known groups. Haven't heard of any Tea Party groups doing as yours is, but it sure sounds like a good idea. Link to comment
