Guest Guest
Last night I picked a bunch of green peppers and actually we're sick of eating them at this point. I have plenty already frozen and decided I'd like to make stuffed green peppers and put them in the freezer. We have to watch DH's cholesterol so I've browned some hamburger and rinsed it and will stuff the peppers with that and whatever sounds good. My question is should I cook them before freezing or freeze them before baking? Any suggestions would sure be helpful. Thanks! ------------------ Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest
Thanks westbrook. I have them in the fridge ready to partially cook before freezing and will finish cooking the ones we're having for supper. Dinners at 6:00...see you then! ------------------ Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest
Throw in another one... I'll be driving as *fast* as I can to make it by 6!!!! ------------------ Quote Link to comment

twilap
Mmmm, I love stuffed peppers. Count me in for leftovers! I partially cooked mine before freezing and they turned out perfect. The only problem is we can't keep them in the freezer long! Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest
I usually bake them for about half an hour before freezing so they are cooked half way through. I have also cooked them completely before freezing them. Can I come over for dinner and then you won't have to worry about it Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest
Dice and dehydrate them for use in sauces or omlettes this winter. Quote Link to comment
