mrszouave
Hi and Welcome Jerry Sweet!! Of all the things i've dehydrated.....apples came out the best.... I peeled them....cut them into 1/4 -1/2 " slices.....cut out the little core with a plastic cap (like a maple or a chocolate syrup cap)....and plop the slices in a bowl with pineapple juice for a little while (not long-the pineapple keeps them from browning and adds a nice flavor)...then fish em out..(it might be best to dab them on a paper towel)...and dip em in a plate of cinnamon sugar......throw em on the racks....and dry away.....set at 135* for around 11 hours. To test them.....rip em in half and if you see any moisture....do longer. Have fun......they are real tastey! deb ------------------ [This message has been edited by debbielee (edited November 05, 2002).] Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest
We like to put fruit in a blender and liquidfy it. Then we put it in the dehydrator and make our own fruit roll ups.
