ricardo
Is anyone worried about this years flu season? Shannon Quote Link to comment
Judy Moist
Well, I don't usually take the flu shot, so the shortage isn't worrying me, but the fact that there will be so many out there with the flu this year... I am prepared for that also! I have stocked up for the cold and flu season, for both ends Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest
Quote: Have you seen the new plug ins available now. Instead of a floral scent, this one is put out by sudafed. It is like soltice or mentholatum, you plug it in your outlet and the medicine vapors go through out your home to help your congestion.... Westbrook is all Ears... or in this case Eyes!!! NO! where did you find them? which store, isle? Sometimes they (companies) will target a state and conduct market research so not all states get the same thing. Thera Flu has been advertising these new disolving strips. Placed on a childs tongue and it disolves. This makes it easy to administer. I do not get a flu shot. Let the elderly get them. And since I am 21 (and that is the lie I am sticking to) I will never get old. The air freshener interests me. I hate taking medicine. wes Quote Link to comment
Guest Guest
If any of you do find those mentholated plug-ins, please do share where you found them! This would be really great for my family's allergies! Quote Link to comment
Judy Moist
The sudafed plugins should be available in most stores,(especially walmart), look for them where sudafed products are located or where the vapor rubs are.... they have been advertising this over television for the past two weeks.. Guest Guest
Haven't even heard of them here ... hopefully it won't just be a local market thing. I'm heading to Wal-Mart anyway tomorrow, I'll see if I can find them. Quote Link to comment

ricardo
My family got the flu shot because of Luke, we didn't want to bring it home to him. We are going to be extra careful this year. We are going to stock up on things now so that we don't have to go out very much during this time. I am making out a list of things that I'm short on. I'm always short on things that we go through really fast. Quote Link to comment
corvettesmycar77
Nope not worried here. I make a yellow dock tincture that will kill the influenza virus. We have 100% sucsess with it. Quote Link to comment

Care to share your recipe? I am planning on trying four thieves vinegar next season, this would be another good thing to try! Quote Link to comment
corvettesmycar77
For any tincture you take 1 oz. of dried herb and soak it in 1 pt. of cheap vodka. Let soak for at least 2 weeks in a warm dark place, shake the jar vigorously 2-3 times a day at least. Then strain it and keep it in a warm, dark place and it will store forever. Be forwarned you will look like this Quote Link to comment
