gardnmom
This is the first time I have heard of it, so I looked it up. Pronounced "Roy Boss" Rooibos contains Aspalathin, a flavonoid found in medicinal herbs that are used to treat skin disorders and circulatory disorders. Flavanoids found in Rooibos may also have anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties. Japanese research on Oligosaccharides found in Rooibos concludes that these compounds may aid one’s immune system to fight viral infections ( i.e HIV ) You can read about it here: http://www.africantea.com/index.html Quote Link to comment

Bamboo
I just found a tea that is rooibos. It's made by Stash and is red tea. The only ingredient is rooibos, caffeine free, herbal. Tastes pretty good, a little different and it is red. Quote Link to comment
