ricardo
Yellow Rice Mix Recipe 1 cup Rice 1 teaspoon Onion Powder 1/4 teaspoon Ground Turmeric 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cumin 1/2 teaspoon Salt 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder 1/4 teaspoon Sugar Mix: Combine the spices and the rice. Store in an airtight container. To make the rice add 2 cups water and 2 teaspoons olive oil. In a medium sized saucepan, combine the rice mix, water and oil and bring to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed. Remove from the heat and let sit for 5 minutes. Stir the rice and serve.
