  1. Hey Everyone!

Very warm days here and it is December!

worked with Amish crew today on pole barn raising and we all were working without coats on.

    still no snow on ground?

Had to come in here everyday and wait for things to load just to say hello but we are doing fine and very busy.

  2. thanks..............................

    and now-

    Did the listings change places?

I see now (on mine anyway) that the forum thread and the topic have changes places so now I see the topic first then where it is in forums?

    I LIKE that!

Or is it always been that way and I am seeing things just because I slept for 6 hours staight last night? LOL

  3. So things are going great with the new updates but still have a few 'new' items?

Today I can't get it to load the 'view new content' and that was working just fine?

also whenever I reply to a post it don't show up on the list of view new content?

    and.........................

while we are at it in the past I could 'read' what was posted on the list and when I went back stuff was still there. Now after I view 'view new content' and go back everything is gone?

    Thanks for any help from 1 old geezer - - > :AmishMichael2:

  4. Good Question!

OK, for us anyway we use 'fresh' peppers and chop them up very fine. We have one (well 3 in all) of those white 'choppers' with the handle on top and the blade inside a plastic bowl thingy(?) that we use as it chops them up very well. Don't know about anything 'electric' and we don't have or use any of that in Kitchen. You want it to look like jam not jelly? so you can still see bits and pieces of the peppers and by the way colored peppers make it look 'PRETTY".

    Good Luck..................................

  5. OK I thought you all had one last year?

    So here we go again.................................

  6. We have been so busy - no time to even come in here for updates!

    Than the weekend hit!:

BIG Dollhouse show and sale on Saturday - 12 dealers selling and our 20+ dollhouses on display!

Flea Markets, Visiting Amish Friends and helping out here and there have Us very busy.

................... and then it snowed! COOL!

Wish we had the shout box back or SOMETHING for quick 'hellos' when no time to post??????????????

  7. OK - so I (we) are getting things back up and thanks for that , but..........................................

I still can't find where to get my 'earthy brown' skin (or whatever it was called?)back up?

and no SHOUT on ours? is it back or still in the works?

    I hate changes ! :imoksmiley:

and smilies somtime are there but other times can't load them up?

Sorry but this old guy needs help?

    :AmishMichael2:

  8. I can't get anywhere here in last few days?Tried 'shout' but it never loads what I typed? Now whenever I am on there is a lot of things trying to download from this site?HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and the screen is all messed (big wording) up but I can seet things? Michael

  9. Thanks again for the list!

We now have her 'bookmarked' on my Kindle so I can download them from there.

By the way you are posting them as 'free' but some you have to have PRIME to get them for free and that we do not have BUT the rest are free.

Like that it is just a list of what we want (prpe and stuff) without having to go through the whole list of free books on Amizon.

  10. In a pinch the bucket type would work.

Keep an eye out at yard sales and thrift shops for 'wringers' - we have found 2 brand new ones (I guess from Y2K?).

Just check out the rollers as sometimes they get hard and then don't work very well. You want a little give so you don't break buttons or pop off the rollers when putting clothes through them.

Love our Maytag Wringer Washer, but just in case

I built a stand that the wringer clamps onto so I can do it standing up (not on side of wash tub) out of wood and have the wash tubs up on milk crates. We do use it on our "Pioneer Weekends"

  11. OH good question..............................

I would say to be safe and hidden Natural gas furnace (or propane if you are WAY OUT THERE) That is why we don't have a wood stove for heat - I know I will wait too long to clean out chimney (fire) and don't like everything smelling of smoke, so we have gas for the main heat source.
