Congratulations!

Study that picture a while, figure out how much , dimensions and materials you need and what color paint suits you, and make your own for about 20 % or less if you use recycled materials. ( of that outrageously priced coop. )
do you want me to see if I can copy and upload the pics of it for you to look at here? because you cant view them?
I don't have the skilset to build something like that unfortunately, arby. Or know anyone for that matter.. And thanks on the picture offer. I can see them, I just wanted to see if they could be put into the post so others could.

Bumping up because I'm dehydrating carrots and cauliflower today.

Hmmm...that's odd. I do have Amazon Prime. But, it doesn't show up as available on Kindle at all for me. Only in paperback form.
OK, now I see it available when I click on TMC's direct link in her other post. Seems like it would make sense to have paperback and Kindle form available for sale on the same page.

I just downloaded TMC's book 'Bystander'! I didn't know that it was available for Kindle. I'm into 'Dark Grid' right now, but I bet I can finish it fast! Congrats Carolyn. We are very proud of you!!!
Where did you see it on Kindle? I only see the hard copy on Amazon.

Ground beef with rice, asparagus. Easy, easy.

Bumping up again. I have a bunch of apples and bananas I need to do something with. Time to break out the dehydrator.

Or "salmon."

Does any of this work on rats? Those big, ugly, nasty Norwegian roof rats that are all over the city I live in. About a week and a half ago our internet went out and after a lot of fussing with AT&T...it was discovered that the wires in the walls had been chewed. Took 4 days to get it fixed. I hate rats.
We've battled these suckers for 2 years since we moved into this house. Fortunately they are in the garage mostly but sometimes I hear them scratching in the crawspace in the roof. I think the former residents just didn't care because the garage was loaded with rat poopies when we moved in. We thought we had done a pretty good job of keeping the population down with traps and our cats...but 2 years later...the cats are now 14 and 17 and missing a lot of teeth and the rats seem to be too smart for the traps (can they figure it out after a while?)
Everything seems just unsanitary in the garage because I just know they've probably walked over it and we've discovered they've chewed through some stuff that was stored.
I hate rats. Did I already say that? Well...let me say it again. I really hate rats.

Sending up prayers for your family Ann.

Bumping to the top...because I need as many ideas as possible!

The shortening doesn't last as long and should be rotated every yr or two if at all possible unless stored in a freezer. If kept frozen it can be kept a good 10 yrs or so. If it accidentally gets thawed it can be refrozen with no problem.
I had no idea you could freeze shortening to extend it's life. I had stopped buying it because we weren't using it up fast enough.

I know. I miss her, too. Anyone know if she's OK?Rats! I saw this and thought CookieJar was back.
I miss her too. It's been about a year or so since we last talked. Everyday life was just taking over...but, she was doing ok.

No worries Ann. I must have missed the free shipping part...I'm going to pull out my checkbook right now......
Ogre, I still like the idea of the usage of space...there are lightweight growing mediums I believe....
