My first thought when I saw the title of the post was "No. I don't think canning books is USDA approved."

Not all of us freak out over having to be GF. If I had a dime for each time I heard "...must suck..." I'd be well off
There are some things coconut flour are ok in, but personal preference- it's not a great texture. I LOVE almost all other coconut stuff, though!!!

We had a hawk kill one of our birds shortly after we moved in this house. Know what I say? SSS
OK. So today I've packed several boxes already, am looking for "stuffers' to fill the few more I've started & will just be packing & shuffling things all day. FUUUUNNNNN. Not. Am trying turkey breast for dinner from the turkeys we picked up & butchered a couple months ago. I live such an exciting life, LOL!

He didn't add enough cornstarch. I make GF gravy, & it's hit or miss no matter what I use, but I've managed to make a a thick (and once or twice TOO thick) gravy out of cornstarch. Even before GF cooking, I had to be sure I added enough of anything to thicken whatever I was making

Also though I am feeding no creature great or small other than the cat and dog....
I have heard that feed is up to $12-15 per bag. I never paid that much per 100
before!
It's actually down at (& for) the moment. You're correct in the price, but when I bought the chicks & was also buying layer, the price was close to $SEVENTEEN per 50#. Now it's at $13.99 & has been for a couple months.

So I'm glad no one took her ...only to have her die too soon.
That's so sweet in spite of the loss you're feeling She had to stay where she was home, so she could pass in peace.

Elvis Dog
Servings: 1
1 Banana, peeled
1 hot dog bun, split lengthwise about two-thirds
1 Tbs honey (to taste)
2 Tbs Peanut Butter (or more)
1 dash cinnamon (optional)
1. Toast the split bun in a skillet.
2. Then slather it with Peanut Butter, placed a whole banana inside so it looked like a hot dog and drizzled it with honey (in a pattern that made it look like mustard).
3. One bite and you will be in your own personal Graceland:

You're not missing anything. Every few years we get it when we move as part of a pkg deal of some sort. It doesn't usually last long, LOL!

There are tons of dairy farms in CA.. also they grow a lot of the feed that would feed dairy cows probably not just in CA.. and without water you can't grow stuff so..
Yes that. I thought with the drought, that was a given, lol.
I always used to see those stupid "Happy cows come from California" commercials when we had cable.
FOR JEEPERS!
