Deblyn, sorry about your loss.
Now about your quilt. I haven't made quilts other than the ones I mentioned, but there are many ways to use the material you have and make pretty designs.
Here is one url for a couple designs.

Here is another one. When all of the quilts come up, the one at the bottom would be nice. It is called, 'From My Garden With Love'. The others might not work for what you want.

Here is a very good site. If the url doesn't work at first, try again, as I couldn't get it to work the first time I tried it. But, here goes.

I hope you are able to find something in one of these you can use.

Momo, please ICQ me. I don't have your number as I lost all of my numbers when my computer went down.
That goes for anyone else who was on my list and want to be again.
Thank you.

You are so right, Spit was here one day and hasn't been back since. Wonder where she went, maybe to stock up on the sugar?
Di, are your parents back from their little trip yet? Maybe you can get your Dad to set still long enough to make at least one post.

Good morning Lois. How is your mom today? I am sure she will be feeling better each day.

Welcome back FarmLady. Nice to see you again.
We all have times when we aren't able to post as much as we would like to, so don't worry about not being here much. Just come when you can.
Now, I have some warm muffins and coffeecake to start the day with.

What happened to your sig, LCM? Where did it go?
I keep seeing these little red x's in the box.
Hope you can find it soon.

Cookie, just put the / in the last [/img] then it should work.

Thank you Madkat for posting the site.
I have read part of it and it is very interesting. Here again, I would have to get the ok from my Dr. Not sure I could go without the meat or dairy products.

We have our two dogs. They bark every time a car comes in. They even bark when we come home from town.
I get a lot of exercise because of their barking.

Thank you for all of this information Midnightmom.
This is all very interesting and there are a couple sweeteners I have never heard of before.
I remember my parents used Saccharine in their ice tea. Our DD is using Splenda now since her surgery.

Hi there Madkat, of course you can post here. Anyone and everyone is welcome here.
I have done the low-carb diet too, but it was a long time ago. I do need to find a diet I can live with. I need to talk to my Dr. and I may go back to the low-carb for a month. That is all he will allow me to be on it at a time.
Please tell us all about the 'Hallelujah' diet. It sounds like it would be interesting.

Thanks for posting this site. It will be a help to me. Some place in this house, I have a little carb counter book, but it has been some time since I have looked at it. Guess I should see if I can find it again.

Reci, I have read the Janet Okes series, but it was a very long time ago, probably close to 18 or so years ago. Whenever they first came out at least.
We bought them for our DD and after she read them, I did.
Anyway, it was a long time ago.
I am afraid I am not one of the readers here, I just don't do a lot of it. If it comes in a movie, I will watch it rather than read.
My DH reads all the time. He has read all the Zane Gray and Louis L'amour books he can find and he is into Sci-Fiction books. Anne McCaffrey is one of his favorite writers another is Tom Clancy.

Oh Reci, you have found a real find. I would love to have a chance to read those contracts. But, I am sure we will never make it out to NY.
According to our family history, one of my great-great-grandfather was raised by his uncle who was a slave owner in KY. We don't know just why he and some of his brothers were raised by the uncle and we have never found out who his father was though and would love to find out.
We have a lot of unanswered questions on several sides. But we are never going to give up the hunt.
Thank you for sharing this information with us.

Welcome to Mrs. S. Sue, nice to meet you.
I would love to visit your country someday, but doubt if I will ever make it. I don't like to fly and I don't like boats.
I have made several quilts, 5 for grandchildren and one for each of our 3 adult children. I have 2 more to get made yet before Christmas this year. I have been putting them off and just have to get them done.
The ones I make have been a genealogy type quilt. I have put parents, grandparents and aunts and uncles on the grandchildrens quilts and with the others, I have continued with great-grandparents and great-great-grandparents. I put birth dates and death dates, (where needed), along with the birth stones and flowers and zodic signs. I use the fabric paint to do them in. Takes less time than to embroidery them. They are large ones and fit on a reg. - queen size bed.
Be sure to join us in the 'Sewing' forum.

Welcome home, Spitfire. Happy you could make it.
Now, just leave the sugar alone.
I like your sig too.

Looks like just you and me.
Come on people, lets PARTY!!!!!!!
Well, we will just have to see if we can get them interested in it.
There is all kinds of food on this ship, and the intertainment is something else. The pool is great and the movies they are showing are some of the best.

Favorite things, wow, lets see, there are so many.
Doing genealogy
Watching the birds, we have several feeders.
Posting in Mrs. S.
Seeing our grandchildren when we can
I have to agree with Ice Cream
Watching 'Old movies' like 'Ma and Pa Kettle' or the old musicals.
Travel, if I could I would love to travel.

Have to agree with Debbie, you have to tie him down better, or use some tape.

Thank you for your reintroduction. It is nice to get reminders.
Talk to MM about getting a nice sig. She makes the nicest little picture 'Thangs'.

Just doing some checking this morning and I found several sites, but I think this might be one of the best. The first time I tried to get it, it didn't come up, so keep trying and I'm sure it will work.

Hope this will help some of you.
