ouch.. revision.. when we filled up yesterday it was $3.79.. drove by just a few minutes ago and it's up to $3.85.
-
3.79 here.. Safeway does "gas rewards" and they now work at Chevron. Since Safeway is one of only 2 grocery stores in the area I do shop there and since I shop there whether or not I get gas rewards.. it's nice.. now I get .10 off for every $100 I spend at Safeway (a large family spends many $100's) so since Chevron started taking the safeway card.. I've been getting $.70-1.00 off per gallon for a max of 25 gallons (I drive a 15 pass. so easily can get 25 gallons at a time). So at least when I spend more on food I'm spending less on gas.

Well you use saline in your eyes so it doesn't hurt.. you should do the same for your poor sinuses.
-
The infection may clear on it's own if it's draining.
But you may need antibiotics..
As far as it goes you can look into a neti pot for rinsing the sinuses. a saline nose spray can help too, though not as thorough.
bromelain (pineapple enzyme) helps reduce swelling of soft tissue, including sinus tissue and can help alleviate the pressure and encourage drainage. Vitamin C helps with sinus issues. Eucalyptus essential oil can also help.

Ok here's an article that looks very helpful http://mashable.com/2014/04/09/heartbleed-bug-websites-affected/#:eyJzIjoiZiIsImkiOiJfbTdybTM1ZHRyOXJ0eWJxZSJ9
It helps with knowing which sites were affected and which have fixed the issue so that changing your password does something.

Thanks!

hmmm and how wide is the strips? This would be so cool.

kitchen scrubbies? I've made them with the netting but I never would have thought of using plastic bags to make them.. seems like they'd feel too smooth to be scrubbie though?

the cross will only happen in the next generation.. save seeds and those will be the cross.. tomatoes actually have a low instance of cross pollination.. something like only 5%. But others are more readily crossed. If you want to save seed there's ways to do it (covering the blossoms and pollinating them by hand and marking them as the ones to save for seed) so that you don't have to protect the whole garden just a couple of blossoms from each type of plant.

This is not exactly what was being looked for but it can be sorta tweaked to figure it out.
http://www.cheapcooking.com/costperserving.htm
I know it does cost per serving but once you input information.. it also tells you how many servings you get per pound. So for instance.. if you figured boneless skinless chicken breasts and whole chicken.. you could figure out the difference in servings per pound and probably work out what you want to know. Not to mention it's awful handy for it's intended purpose.. helps you figure the better deals when buying it anyway.

Oh but it's a dry heat... sorta like being stuck in one of those food dehydrators or when the wind is blowing, a hair dryer..
I was wondering about putting something that would spread and drape along the edges so that it would cover the bricks? rosemary comes to mind.

for braiding or crocheting heavier lengths you can just hold the handles and pull the bag straight and poke a hole through the sides loop the next one through to create a chain of bags to work with. Same idea as splitting but just creating a hole to work with.
I've heard of making them into a rug for stepping out of a shower. And would certainly be nice for camping or such where you might want a place to stand on that's not dirt.
-
You might also want to consider what critters might like to hide from the heat in your garden if you let it become a wild tangle.
And as far as spacing.. square foot gardening or intensive gardening will give you closer spacing than traditional methods (on the seed packets) and companion planting can help with the different "feeders".
-
raised beds will likely make the soil warm faster and you'll lose more water in that heat down there. I would plant taller plants like Tomatoes and let them sprout and then get some ground cover type plants going.. they'll help keep things cooler and slow down evaporation.

....now...what can we make with these plastic-cloth sheets?
sew stronger reusable bags?

She really is a cutie.. and looks like a good mix of breeds.

I like the name Sasha.. but Phiddler would be a close second.. might even win out. I like dog names that I can hollar outside without the neighbors thinking it's a child I'm yelling for.

Our Safeway.. don't know about all safeways.. sometimes does a $10 off $50 coupons.. if you watch your spending and keep it close to that $50 mark.. that's 20% off your regular prices.. I bought hamburger this week with that coupon.. price of $2.99/lb then take off for the coupon and end up with about $2.40/lb. Sure it's even better if you can get stuff on sale with the coupon but at least it helps bring prices closer to reasonable.

I saw this the other day and thought it was interesting to see.
The image below is an illustration of what the Alamo garrison looked like in 1836.

I had some at a friend's some time ago.. you ate them like nuts. I think she just barely sprouted them and then dried them out. I'd have to hunt around to find an actual recipe that looks right.
-
that's what headcheese is.. it's the meat in the natural gelatin from boiling the meat with the bones.
-
Don't forget your washing machine.. even if you just use the rinse water you can get a good bit of water that way. And keeping the dishpans in the sink means anytime someone runs water, you're saving it to go on your plants.
-
You can use a good oil as a binder for meat salads too.
-
Oh it's been a long time since I've been around any salami/summer sausage making and as I recall it was all raw meat that was cook in a very slow oven. BUT there is "head cheese" that is made from cooked meat (pork). So maybe that would give you some ideas or a different way to search?

No actually mayo is fine unless it's mixed with something. I worked at a small store that served lunches and you could safely set out a container of mayo without keeping it chilled but you had to chill anything that had mayo added.
