We have not had good Fall weather. But, the last 2 days have been great. Like some of you, I've done a lot of winterizing outside. The forecast is for a cold front to come in tonight so I guess that's it for daytime temps in the 70's. Jeepers, I have while baskets, too. I'm always wiping them out.

My DH has been taking frozen breakfast burritios or sausage/egg/cheese on English muffins each morning. He leaves at 3:30 a.m. so this works perfectly. If I make muffins, he'll take a couple of them instead. We used the last of the freezer stash yesterday, so today I will be making up the burritos and English muffins. It will be good to once again have a freezer supply of these breakfast foods. I like to make up 5# or more of meatballs to have in the freezer. They make for quick meals. We especially like Meatball Minestrone on a cold Winter night.

I like this idea. I would give it a try. I've made my share of canning mistakes myself and I've been canning for a long time.
