Parsley from our garden.

People around here recommend Viking (redskin) and Kennebec (brown).
Thanks! I saw Kennebac (I think) at Agway today. I'll have to pick that up, then.

One thing you should also know is that early potatoes, like Yukon Gold, don't make layers of potatoes as you add more soil into the barrel.
Do you know which varieties would be good for this?
We have a heavy plastic tub out of a washing machine we'd like to try growing potatoes in. Thanks!

This months Organic Gardening Magazine (april-May) has a great article on Planting Potatoes. They did it 7 differant ways in the same garden and report on what worked and what didn't. Very good to see it 'side-by-side'.
Thanks, Michael. I found the article online here http://organicgardening.com/learn-and-grow/7-ways-plant-potatoes

We've never grown potatoes before. Thinking about giving this a try...

Please.........
PLEASE............................
PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!
tell us he is NOT going to be putting on the Long Johns and then the shorts over them!
PLEASE say it ain't so!
What-you didn't hear about the latest fashion trend?
We were shopping for two seasons-end of winter clearance and early summer (before prices go higher).
I do believe all of this is just for the Mark of The Beast to come into play....
You may not believe the same as I do, but this is what I am getting ready for. I will NOT take any mark.. I think they will be computer chips, just like we put in our animals.
Hold on folks, I think we are in for some very interesting times.
I would not have felt comfortable either about the tags.
I hadn't thought about that, Violet. I agree with you.
Regardless of the deals, we will no longer be purchasing clothing at Walmart.
If I hadn't noticed the sign on the desk, I wouldn't have even noticed it on the packaging.

Okay, not to be dumb here, but what are edc tags?
I'm not sure if I got the letters correct. Anyway, it's radio tags. Here's an article http://finance.yahoo...-track-clothing
I'm not comfortable with this at all!

The stores seem to be starting to discount some winter items around here.
At Sam's Club, I got a queen size set of flannel sheets for $9.91. We happened to be walking down the isle with the towels and I noticed the price of the sheets!!
Now for my Walmart question: remember the story awhile back about them going to have those new "tags"? I was very uncomfortable with it!!
At Walmart yesterday, DH was in the dressing room trying on shorts. I was sitting on a bench and there was a sign about them on the front of the fitting room desk. I think it was called edc tags or something like that. We had picked up several packages of thermal long underware for DH since it was discounted to $3/package. Sure enough, there was an edc sticker on the back of the packages. We decided to not get those. I noticed edc printed on the cardboard tag of the shorts so we put those down, too. Anyone else notice those?

Can you try sand-blasting it to clean it out?

Working on getting oregano dehydrated. I have several batches of that to do. I've just been dehydrating the leaves. Do people do the stems, too? I wasn't sure so I just did the leaves.
-
Basil. The whole house smells like it now.
-
Garlic. We started off with the dehydrator inside the house. We quickly decided to move the dehydrator outside on the porch.
Now I'm wondering if the house has aired out or if we're just used to the strong garlic odor and no longer notice it.

I cut DH's hair. He likes to keep it short. The last few times he's gone to get his hair cut, they've raised the price by $1 each time. We bought a Wahl brand kit at Sam's and figure by the second or third time I cut his hair, it will have paid for itself.

We have success using Slippery Elm. I buy it in capsules.

5 trays of bananas. We were at a farm market this morning and the reduced-price bananas looked better than the regular priced ones! We came home with 6 bunches. 3 bunches are in the dehydrator now and we'll do the rest tomorrow.

Several quart bags of strawberries (cut-up). The kitchen smells good. The strawberries will be used in smoothies after blueberries are in season/cheaper.
