UKGuy
Pea Salad ( Recipe DomesticGoddess ) 1 cup salad dressing 1/4 cup sugar 1-2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion 1-( 3.25 ounce ) jar bacon bits 12 ounces Colby or Mild Cheddar Cheese, cubed small ( I've even used a Medium Cheddar Cheese in this salad ). 1-( 16 ounce ) bag frozen peas, thawed In a large bowl, combine salad dressing, sugar & red onion. Stir in the bacon bits and cheese. Add the peas; mix gently into the salad. Chill several hours in the refrigerator; before serving. Makes 10-12 servings. Note: This salad still tastes great, when served the next day. This is one of my "all-time-favorite" salads! Link to comment
