redhenfarm Posted October 13, 2005 Share Posted October 13, 2005 Good afternoon The clouds are gone and the sun is out for a bit. By golly it's 61 degrees! That's a nice day here. I'm cleaning up the guest room before my son comes to visit this weekend. Glad to say my blood sugar readings have been very good since I decided it was time to behave myself. I got on the ol' treadmill this morning for half an hour. DH is hauling away our old washing machine. Glad he found a home for it out of the carport. In the middle of the night I woke up and decided what I'm going to make for the Christmas ornament exchange. Now I'm looking forward to this. Have to check my supplies. Unike: Sounds like you are going like gangbusters today! Kids never like to clean up things but they feel better after it's done just like the rest of us. They'll have a yummy dinner for their reward tonight. Glad you like the new apartment and it's in a good place. Something for you to look forward to. You can only do so much. She got up with me this morning at the very early hour of 5 am so she could say bye. It always makes me sad when the kids leave after a visit. And this was such a good visit! Link to comment
