Does that apply to all meats both cooked and raw? I just got my canner and I am itching to can something!!! Thanks. Link to comment
Leia Posted November 18, 2005 Share Posted November 18, 2005 Hi Rita, All ther meat I have canned has either been in the form of soups/stews or a basic tomato/hamburger mix that I use. But, I believe that raw pack has to be canned with liquid....only cooked meat can be canned without liquid (Please, anyone correct me if I am wrong here!! I am going by what's in my canner book). Good luck!!!!!! I am going to start canning meat as I LOVE being able to grab off the shelf and have half of dinner done already!!!!!!! Shawna Link to comment
