HazyDaze
We have been drinking Kombucha for years. It is wonderful. A healthy alternative to processed juice and or soda as you had mentioned. My DH has diabetes and has no problem drinking Kombucha as the sugars are depleted by the fermentation of the drink. I highly recommend it! We have some dear friends in Canada, always nice to have more! Link to comment
Guest Guest
What does it taste like? My mom and grandpa used to drink it, but the smell turned me off. I know it's supposed to be such a wonderful thing... ~Jo Link to comment
HazyDaze
Kombucha tastes like apple cider, but bubbly. Very refreshing. "Try it, you'll like it!" Link to comment
ma & pa steel
Yes, just like applecider. It's wonderful! Takes a bit of getting used to, but most good things do! Link to comment
Bamboo
OK...don't laugh, but why would you want to drink this, what is it good for? Link to comment
HazyDaze
Here is a website. I am not at all affiliated with this - I only recommend this to you as a resource for information. You can purchase your "mother mushroom" from here, but I highly recommend asking around. I have given dozens away to my friends. As they constantly multiply, similiar to "friendship bread", etc. This website will give you an overview as to the health properties of Kombucha. www.earthcalls.com/kombucha/index2.shtml Also, please, always ask questions, sharing information is a great gift! You may be asking a question that will help not only you, but others. God Bless Link to comment
