Guest Guest Posted January 5, 2006 Share Posted January 5, 2006 It's sweet of you to ask, thanks! Unfortunately, this pregnancy has ended. I think Russ was more upset than he let on. I haven't seen his wife since then, but I think they've worked through the worst of it. Russ still is able to joke with me about convincing Kevin to have kids, so I take that as a good sign. ~Jo Link to comment

Sometimes it feels awkward knowing exactly what to do, but a friend of mine who has ten children and who has experienced a few miscarriages told me it usually helps when people acknowledge the pain rather just act like nothing happened. Kygal Posted January 6, 2006 Share Posted January 6, 2006 sorry to hear about your friend jo, i am guessing i have not met them? when my (former) bosses sister, also the secretary, had a miscarriage, i convinced everyone to pitch in 20 dollars each to buy her a gift basket. they said that i should pick it out being the only girl, and so i got one of those meat and cheese baskets from hickory farms. it brought her such joy too, to know that we all cared.
