Pixie Posted July 30, 2006 Share Posted July 30, 2006 does enyone have a good recipe for spinach and potato latke patties? i tried to wing it, but they did not turn out so well, and i have not been able to find a suitable recipe. also, i need a good recipe for hummus, and tziki(spelling?) sauce. Darlene Posted August 1, 2006 Share Posted August 1, 2006 tzatziki is awesome, I love that stuff. Falafel and tahini and tabouli and and and...I love middle eastern food. I'll dig out some of my recipes and post them later, I gotta find them lol... As far as the latke's go, I grew up on those...I don't have a specific recipe that I have written down, it's all eyeballed, but I would take a couple of potatoes and shred them, add an egg, mince up a small onion, add some salt and pepper to taste, a handful of chopped spinich. Mix well together and form into patties and pan fry till golden brown on both sides. I can get you an exact recipe if you'd like...and I'll be back with recipes later for the tzatziki.
