westbrook
Stramonium is used in inhalants to open bronchial passages. Most often associated with Athsma. The leaves are dried and smoked in an emergency. One inhale is all it takes. Yes the plant is poison, the roots are the most lethal. Children are usually interested in the seed pot and when green is soft but prickly and the seeds are sweet. The leaves stink when fresh. The flower is pretty and has a nice fragrance, that is if you can get over the leaf smell. I post this information because if you or your child has asthma and you run out... now what? Link to comment
