Glynn
Darlene recently made an interesting comment that I've looked for high and low and cannot find. I'll paraphrase her remark about the contents of store-bought applesauce: "there's nothing in it." I went to my pantry, pulled out a jar of store-bought applesauce and read the nutrition label. Yikes! Darlene, you were right. There is no nutritional value in applesauce. Link to comment
HSmom
I'm pretty sure my applesauce is good-for-you. I mill fresh apples, which removes the cores, skin and seeds. I then heat it up, hot pack and process in WB. In theory it should contain everything apples do, yet nothing more (no sweetener, etc). Link to comment
