dogmom4 Posted May 20, 2007 Share Posted May 20, 2007 (I asked about this in the kitchen forum and realized it was the wrong place for it..so I moved it here) Speaking of fleas....Westie, what do you do for your dogs to keep the fleas off? I've always managed to keep them at bay with vaccuuming and baths, etc. But, this year my Abby is having a reaction to them. She doesn't have a lot...but, she seems to be itching constantly from the few I have found on her. She's begun chewing and licking them so much she's getting sore spots. Stacy Link to comment
SueC Posted May 20, 2007 Share Posted May 20, 2007 A friend used peppermint oil - he would put a few drops in a bottle with water and spray the entire kennel area with it once a week. Never had problems. So maybe spray the main areas that the dog is in? Link to comment
