jeanettecentaur
I was experimenting with my crock pot, and this was a total winner… I just used what I had in the freezer. Crock Pot Sweet and Hot Chicken 4 large frozen boneless/skinless Chicken Breasts 6 Cups (more if you can fit it) Normandy Mix (frozen Squash, Carrots, Broccoli, Cauliflower, etc.) 1 large chopped Onion ½ Cup of Honey ¾ Cup of Tamari or Braggs Soy Sauce ½ Cup of broth (I used shrimp broth that I made from shells previously) 2 Heaping Tablespoons of Crushed Red Peppers Place Chicken on bottom of pot. Throw all veggies on top of chicken. Whisk together honey, Braggs Soy Sauce, and broth. Pour over Chicken and Veggies. Cook on low 6-7 hours. This dish was amazing!!! When it was all done I tossed the chicken and veggies with some spiral pasta and made sure that there was plenty of broth in the serving bowl. DH and I both like spicy food, and he couldn’t stop saying how delicious it was…lol… Link to comment

Deblyn
That sounds so good! I am going to try it after my dad leaves on chicken. He doesn't like spicy food nor chicken, but my dh and I do! Thanks! Link to comment
Amishway Homesteaders
Isn't it fun to play with your food no matter WHAT your mother said. this looks like a keeper and seeing we have most of the veggies 'fresh' from the garden - now is a good time to make it. Thanks Link to comment
