Guest Guest
German Chocolate Pie 1 ½ c. sugar 4 Tbsp. butter, melted ½ can evaporated milk (about 6 oz.) 4 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder 2 eggs ½ c. chopped pecans ½ c. coconut 2 tsp. vanilla Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Beat sugar & butter until well blended. Add rest of ingredients; mix well. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake until top is brown & crusty, about 30 minutes. Serve at room temp. (optional – double pecans and eliminate coconut.) (I usually just make 2 pies, using the entire can of evap. milk.) Quote Link to comment
