Looking for a treadle sewing machine

You can find lots of used ones, but don't try to have one shipped, they weigh a ton and the cost will kill you! I bought not one, but two treadle machines this past summer, a 1907 Singer and a 1913 White.

I know, what do I need two machines for? Well, through a weird twist of fate, I was able to get them both within 24 hours of each other, paid $60 for the White and $50 for the Singer. Like my son said, who could pass up a deal like that?? He actually found them for me, what a good boy! So I'm now the proud owner of TWO treadle machines for a grand total of $110, woo hoo!

There are also lots of places online to buy replacement parts such as belts, needles, bobbins, etc., as well as manuals and special attachments. Good luck in your search! smile
