Ducks and rice major factors in bird flu outbreaks

This is very interesting and kind of chilling all at the same time to think that those ducks could be the cause of spreading the disease through the rice.

 

One thing I heard recently was that they are finally getting somewhere with developing a vaccine for it with cells rather than eggs which speeds up the process. I'm not a great believer in vaccines but perhaps this will help stop it before it spreads. Maybe.

Okay, I know that this is a serious concern...and frankly after my butchering experience last year, the sight of all those ducks just sickens me...
