Guest Guest Posted December 12, 2002 Share Posted December 12, 2002 Crash! Shove! Ouch!! I finally got a new keyboard connected and can now ‘talk’ to you all. On November 18, we loaded up the truck with all my belongings and sent it on it’s way to Chattanooga! I left the next afternoon and arrived here about 2:30am. After ‘dying’ until about 8am we had a hardy breakfast and started unloading the truck. Thank goodness I have friends who not only drove me up here, but also did all the loading, unloading, and set-ups. J My apartment is very nice and in a wonderful location. I can call the dial-a-ride and get anywhere in town that I want to go for just a quarter. Next door to the complex is a shopping center with a grocery store, bakery, dry cleaners, hairdresser and a ‘packing place’. I haven’t had time to check everything out but I try to get out every day that it’s not raining. Most of the people up here seem to be very helpful and I’m so very happy here. I am looking forward to meeting lots of nice people when I start a class at the community college next month. ------------------ Quote Link to comment
