mommafitz Posted July 4, 2008 Share Posted July 4, 2008 Mornin' Ya'll! I'm currently the only one up. Have some and cinnamon toast. Yea, I know. We had cinnamon toast yesterday. So its leftovers, okay?! We have shrimp, chicken tenders, vidalia onions, sweet bell peppers, and mushrooms marinating in the fridge for shish kebobs to eat with our ribs today at dinner. We are going to eat early I think. The cold watermelon in the fridge will make a great refreshing dessert this evening before we clean up to go watch fireworks. We are using the big charcoal grill today. I'm going to bake a cake this morning before it gets too hot. I'm currently while I enjoy visiting with you guys this morning. We are gonna clean up/rearrange DS2's bedroom today. I've got some curtains to hang up and a new bedspread to put on his bed....clean sheets........clean out the closet......Ain't this a stinking HOLIDAY? I'm sposed to be off today!!!! Dee Posted July 4, 2008 Share Posted July 4, 2008 Mornin' mommafitz, prayed2bamom and everyone. We had our party across the blacktop at DS's last night and boy was I tired. The only thing I drank was Diet Pepsi but when I got up this morning I realized I'd forgotten to put my pajama bottoms on. They were still laying on my pillow right where I'd put them. Crazy!!! I love the song "God Bless the USA" prayed2bamom and it's ironic that you posted it because Lee Greenwood is going to be at a casino right close to us tomorrow night. This morning we're going to a dedication of a war memorial being put up in our town. Everyone who's served from the Civil War through now has their named carved in it and I'm sorry to say there's a large blank area to add more. It's an absolutely beautiful group of 4 granite stones that I can't even describe. We're going to have a fly over too so that'll be cool. Have a great 4th everyone!!! Link to comment
Aint2nuts Posted July 5, 2008 Share Posted July 5, 2008 It was a good Fourth. I went to my folks house, and my brother didn't tell ANY off colored jokes. LOL That is my measurement of a good day! Actually it was nice. The fireworks were great, although it was really windy here. Link to comment
