MomM
Today, we are making the cappaletti's for Christmas Eve Dinner. We make around 24 dozen (1/2 meat filling, 1/2 cheese filling) as we have around 18 for dinner (and DD #2 in VA wants us to send her a couple of dozen). Well, DH thought up the idea of using the dehydrator to dry the cappaletti's (they are like ravolli's), and it works great! So much nicer, than having trays of drying pasta covered with towels, laying all over the place. After they are dried, I put them in ziplock bags and into the freezer for Wed. night. Link to comment
Kevin B 123
I use my dehydrator to dry most of my pasta! Mine is a 10 drawer unit, that saves a WHOLE LOT of counter space! Link to comment
Stephanie
Great idea MomM! And what time should we be there to taste them? Link to comment
