ScrubbieLady
We have an overabundance of plums, well several overabundances. Does anyone know of a juicer that will process plums without removing the pits? Sure would help. Link to comment

Violet
It is a steam juicer. You put on the stove. It is so great !!!! All you have left is the dry skins and pits. Just compost and that is it. http://www.ultimate-weight-products.com/pa...ID=298473085011 Link to comment
ScrubbieLady
Do you mean so you don't have to remove them yourself? I cook the plums, pits, peels and all. Then when I finish I have to push it through a sieve or sometimes my applesauce mill but eventually, I have to use my hands because the pits get in the way of the pusher. Thanks for the info on the steam juicer Violet. I'll look into it. Link to comment
K_L
We have lots of plums to, the kind that are difficult to remove the seeds (gold plums) what we found works great is one of those steamer pots, you know the one that sits on top of a regular pot for steaming. It has holes in the bottom. We have a large one. What we do is wash and blanch plums then drain and put them in the steamer pot and mash with a potatoe masher. We tried just about every reamer and juicer, this works best for us. we make golden plum jam and plum dipping sause and plum salsa. someone posted a really good recipie last fall. YUMMM (sorry for the spelling, this thing really should have spell check) Link to comment
