YYY Posted December 4, 2009 Share Posted December 4, 2009 Hi Everybody, Dollar General has the 27 oz cans of Seasoned Turnip Greens for $1.15. Great taste and great price. The problem is that 27 ounces is just too much for 2 people. I have 3 questions. (1) Can I re-can these into pint jars? If so, (2) how long do I process them and (3) do I pressure can or hot water bath? Thanks, YYY Link to comment

Canned Nerd Posted December 4, 2009 Share Posted December 4, 2009 Yup, recanning is out, but I will vacuum-seal in mason jars and keep in the refrigerator if it is something I go through quite rapidly or I put in to serving-size FoodSaver vacuum-seal bags and freeze. Link to comment
