canned pork question

I canned some pork (boneless chops) today and when I took it out of the canner some of the jars had a darker colored liquid in it. Is that normal??

All the jars sealed properly.

kimba, I'm going to guesstimate that some of the jars had a darker broth due to having a slightly different amount of meat in the jar. I'm thinking if some jars had more meat, in an equal space, the broth will be "stronger", thus, darker.

 

I'm sure your canned is pork is fine. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable will chime in with an answer. :)
